Nithya graduated from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, with a Master of Arts Degree in Communications and Media Studies. Alongside her education there, she started researching Educational Therapy and realised her passion.

Upon the completion of her Master's degree, she took up multiple opportunities both in mainstream schools and private institutions where she specialized in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, global developmental delay, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, attention deficit disorder and autism spectrum disorder. She also specialised in phonics instruction to preschoolers, English language and literacy development, Science and Numeracy skills and study skills to primary and secondary level students.

While working, Nithya undertook a Postgraduate Certificate in Specific Learning Differences from the London Metropolitan University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Special Educational Needs from the University of South Wales, a Certificate of Attendance for the DAS Orton-Gillingham training course and a Professional Certificate in Preschool Support.

In her 13 years of experience in the field, she has also had 8 years of experience in one-on-one tutoring with students with diverse learning needs. Her expertise lies in creating personalised learning plans that cater to each student's unique requirements.

Nithya's approach to learning is one that is student-centred and holistic. She always ensures that sessions are full of fun, imagination and creativity. She believes that a happy space is also a safe learning environment. She ensures an emphasis on building confidence, self-esteem and resilience in every one of her students and strongly believes that every child has their own learning style and that it is up to the teacher to have a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
